Creation Sabbath 2019

When was the last time your church took time to specifically recognise God’s power and grace as Creator and Redeemer?

By designating the fourth Sabbath in October every year as Creation Sabbath, the Seventh-day Adventist Church is “acknowledging God as our Creator and the implications that this biblical teaching has for us . . . . to create a worldwide sense of unity in promoting this belief in a positive light.”
Everyone is invited to join Seventh-day Adventist churches worldwide in celebrating Creation Sabbath. However, we recognise that the fourth Sabbath in October may not work for all congregations wishing to celebrate Creation Sabbath; if your church can’t celebrate with the rest of the global Seventh-day Adventist community, don’t allow this to deny you the joy of celebrating God’s creation. We encourage all churches choose a date that will work for their congregation. What if your church is not part of the Seventh-day Adventist denomination? Don’t let that stop you. God created us all, surely we can all celebrate this together, whatever denomination we are members of!
